The dates are farmed and harvested on location at the Naute Kristall distillery in Keetmanshoop, Namibia. The fermented date mash alcohol is distilled six times and carbon filtered.
Short maceration and distillation produce three different distillates: 1) The classic juniper brandy with Java pepper and cardamom. 2) The spice brandy with cinnamon, ginger, lavender, rosemary, peppermint, coriander, and acacia flowers. 3) The citrus brandy from oranges, lemons and limes.
After several weeks of rest, the NAMGIN gets its unmistakable characteristics from this blend of the three distillates.
